Cute story with an unusual take on the There was an old lady who swallowed a fly story and one in a series by this author illustrator team This one is a fun story to read aloud with children, especially at the end of summer, just before school begins again Great illustrations, too

Synopsis A quirky teacher swallows a desk and multiple other items to decorate a classroom My Review Munchkin has been coming home from daycare singing the Old Lady Who Swallowed a fly song, boy did it bring back memories but I can t for the life of me remember all the words I then remembered we received this book as a freebie with a scholastic book order some time ago It was a fun book that might make going to school a bit fun The rhyme was good but I just couldn t quite get the same rhythm down to really get into the book There was also a big jump between the last couple of pages that kept making me think I had missed a page but I guess the story just jumps right into the end It was still a fun to read and Munchkin found it funny.

This was a special edition book that came free with scholastic orders in 2015 Each child got one if their teacher placed an order It is a short and simple Old Lady story Basically a little back to school type tale The old lady is swallowing things found in a desk Like I said shorter than the average Old Lady story Nice one to buy if you find it to complete out your collection.

This is an okay book Right from the start, I was slightly annoyed that desk and guess do not rhyme.
